Re: Electrical gremlin? Dead wipers...

Turns out it's not the switch... I just replaced it with a new and still no wipers. The only thing that works is the washer motor... Only thing left is the motor it self..

Electrical gremlin? Dead wipers...

My wipers (01 Tj )decided to stop working today. Checked the fuse and I didn't see anything under the hood in the relay box. Is it safe to assume it's the switch in the steering column or could it be something else I'm not thinking of. Thanks for any info

Re: Suspension seats...for a full cage build?

PRP has a nice selection and the prices are more practical then MC. Are you guys run PRP seats? If so, what model?

Re: Suspension seats...for a full cage build?

Frosty, my daughter is 1 and my son is 3. The jeep is a DD but only about 10 miles a day. Hoping to find a tow slut within my budget soon but still keeping the Jeep tagged.

Suspension seats...for a full cage build?

I'm looking into having a full cage welded up in my TJ. Both the factory seats and brackets can not be used. Master Craft seats are not an option. To make things a little more difficult, I'm looking for a company that has a matching rear seat to secure the tots in and they need to be harness compati...

Yeah...3:73's do suck when your running anything bigger then 31's. After dropping the bread on 4:88's and a E-locker I think I'll keep what I have but nice try!

Re: 4:88 gears/tire size/tires

Driving 80 miles a day for work in a Jeep on 35's is probably not ideal. LOL...thanks for that insight! :-k I have to say as a Jeep enthusiast I enjoy driving my Jeep to work daily for several reasons however, I can understand why some Jeep owners would disagree. I do have another form of transport...

Re: 4:88 gears/tire size/tires

No issues really. Maybe a little fender rub up front. I know I could limit the up travel or even add coil spacers to help avoid this. I could gain better crawl speed and the price is a little better as well. I'll most likely replace my worn donuts with another set of 35's. I'm not sure if I'm going ...

4:88 gears/tire size/tires

Ok, dumb question! Currently running 4:88's with 35's. I've been entertaining the idea of running 33's. Keep in mind, this is currently a DD. I drive about 80 miles round trip daily, M-F and rarely on the HWY. Should I stick with the 35's or down size? My second question is MTR's, KM2's or MTZ's? I'...

I've been on a few club rides but have never attended a meeting. How many typically show up and what are the times?
Thanks

Re: Leaking coolant but from where...?

Radiator, water pump, Thermostat, gaskets and hoses replaced by A/O. I feel bad for not doing it my self but I just don't have the time right now with family in town, a newborn, 2 yr old and a wife and scheduled house showings all week. I hate to pay someone else to do what I can do my self but...li...

Leaking coolant but from where...?

I crawled under the jeep because I notice that it was leaking. It looked like it was coming from the front of the oil pan where it bolts up to the block just under the bottom pulley. The pulleys are to close to the engine for me to tell if the leak is trickling from the water pump. Any ideas on what...
