Re: New Jeep Owner

Welcome.
Yeah, this forum is pretty inactive anymore. :(
I think other social media has killed off a lot of forums.

Re: Winch

Warn has the time-tested reliability.

That being said, I just bought a 9,500 lb Smittybuilt for my Tacoma.

Re: Two way radio comms

Thanks Cowboy!

That does help. It's been too long since I've done any wheeling, I presume most still use CB on the trail.

If I ever start doing any trips with overlanding groups, I'll probably end up adding another radio.

Two way radio comms

Been doing some browsing around overland (wheeling with a destination) forums. I'm seeing FRS/ GMRS radio systems being used. Since I'm a numbskull when it comes to non-mechanical things, can someone (Cowboy?) give me the quick and dirty on a few questions? Not sure I've understood everything I've r...

Re: Nostalgia

I miss the days when this forum was active.
The book of face has killed off more than one forum. The places to look for decent information has dwindled.

Hard to believe she's old enough to drive now. I'm still remembering when she was about knee-high!

I like the color, too!
So is gray the new white for problem Jeeps?
Speaking of white Jeeps with issues, anyone hear from Ryan lately?

Re: Adultery!

Yeah, the bed is some kind of composite material. Never supposed to rust. Good to know about the impact issues. I'll keep that in mind when I start chucking firewood in the back. I've been over on the Tacoma World forum doing a lot of reading the past few weeks. Seems to be about a 40/60 split on op...

Adultery!

I have a confession to make. I got a new vehicle last weekend and it's not a Jeep. But I am really enjoying driving it!! It's my DD. The old 93 Toyota Hilux is still chugging along with 280,000 miles, but I convinced myself it was time to modernize a little to attempt to take the edge off ...

Re: Wrangler Truck

For the model year forecast, they have time to screw it up, like put IFS on it.

I saw a truckload of Renegades on I70 the other day. At first glance I thought they were Kia Souls.
Pathetic.
