Re: This or That?

Use ZJ e-brake cables. http://www.knowwhere2jeep.com/crown-jeep-zj-passenger-side-emergency-brake-cable.html http://www.knowwhere2jeep.com/crown-jeep-zj-driver-side-emergency-brake-cable.html ZJ rear springs are typically 50-80lbf/in higher spring rate than TJ springs. For example, OME rear springs ...

Re: This or That?

Just throwing out my $.02. To install the 8.8 you'll need the brackets (coil, uca, lca, sway bar, shocks, track bar, truss opt), e-brake cables, brakes hoses from hard line to caliper if yours are bad, brakes (calipers, rotors, parking brake shoes, hard line if yours is in bad shape), drive shaft ad...

Re: Drivetrain issue questions

D35 rear? Just hit the junkyards or forums for a different rear axle. If it isn't 4.10s it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Re: frederick meet 4/6

I just noticed though that that skid plate is for 2011 model. it is so hard to find the 2012 model for a lot of parts. http://www.knowwhere2jeep.com/river-raider-2012-jk-oil-pan-and-transmission-skid-plate.html A lot of stuff from the 2007-2011 will fit the 2012 unless it is engine related due to t...

Re: Side Marker Lamps Required?

You can pick a spot either on the fender or on the body and put in a 3/4" led like this: http://www.knowwhere2jeep.com/optronics-uni-lite-3-4-round-sealed-amber-led-marker-clearance-light-kit.html Keep in mind the Xenon Flat Flares are 1.5" wider than stock. The Bushwacker Flat Flares are not. Trail...

Re: Front bumper

It can be with steel and a welder, but probably not worth the effort. The frame widths are different and so are the mounting styles (top and bottom of frame rails vs front of frame rails).

Re: 1987 spare tire mount

Depends how often you open your tailgate. I ran a 33" BFG MT on my YJ tailgate for 2 years with no issues, but I only open my tailgate a few times a month.

Re: Oil quandary

It's a big issue with the '07-'08 JKs and most of the time the dealer answer is 1qt per 750-1,000 miles is normal. Some guys think it's the engines built in Mexico (as opposed to Michigan) that are burning the oil because the piston rings were installed improperly. Don't know if this was ever actual...
