Willys Truck

Post by OrangeSpear » Mon Sep 22, 2014 7:54 am

New to the family, its a 1957 Willys Jeep Truck.
3.7L Super Hurricane I6 engine.
It runs but has no brakes.

We are moving to a new house soon with a good bit of land. My plans for this Willys is to get it operational to use around the house.

Holy cow dude, that's a sick find! Now I want one!

Are you going to just restore is or modify it along the way?

I see car shows and jeep events in your future :)

Current plans are to fix the brakes so thats its can stop. Stopping is always useful. (maybe add a gastank, gastanks are always nice. this one runs off of a fuel line stuck in a gas can  )

But the plans are to use it on the farm. We are currently in the process of buying a farm in Glenville, PA. Finally moving out of this damn townhouse!
I probably wont be doing many heavy modifications. It will need new tires soon but i just plan to use it around the farm.
