The bed was in very bad shape. Someone had attempted to fix most of the rust with concrete :flipoff:

So off with the bed.
The fuel tank had a hole in the bottom of it, so that had to to go too.

Eventually i will be adding a wooden flat bed.

Rear axle is a Timken.

YJ tank installed.
Now i can move the truck around without having to put the fuel line in a gas can or a coke can full of fuel :biggrin:

Looking good. I have a '53 Willys truck coming this way soon that is going to get an overhaul. It's been in a barn for a decade or two but the Studebaker Skybolt Six that's in it has to go.
