Drive Shaft Question

Post by TJmariner » Sat Jan 18, 2014 2:05 pm

So, it sounds like there is something broken INSIDE my front drive shaft. All the u-joints seem fine. Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

If the yellow TJ is his, the front does have a double cardan joint.

Okay, if he does there should be a spacer/aligner piece in between the two u-joints. I have knocked mine loose when I broke a u joint, and didn't quite put it back together correctly. so check your u-joints and that spacer in the middle of that section, both of which could be an issue

Checked everything out and it was in fact the centering ball. Thanks!
