Jeep Chat

Post by JeepGuy21 » Wed Jun 01, 2016 7:37 pm

Lately I've seen more spam ads on this forum than actual Jeep topics! :(

Please post any recent trip pics, upgrades on your crawler, tech questions, etc...

The front Dana 60 underneath the bus needed some overdue maintenance...

Wheel bearings, spindle bearings, stage 8 spindle lock nuts, and a couple wheel studs. Welded a pipe cap to the drive flange to make it "waterproof".

Rear axle was stripped down as well. Rotate pinion, traction bar, 1350 driveline upgrades. Rubicon Express YJ leaf springs too.

Nice seat! Are you putting that in your newly renovated kitchen or on new hardwood floors

Dave a few of us are planning to ride at Gore in a few weeks, I haven't been to Rausch Creek in a long time. How does your schedule look for July?

I've only been wheelin once this year so far, so I definitely want to hit the trails again soon. I might be able to do Spring Fling, but I dunno yet. Just ordered Metalcloak 8" fenders during their Memorial Day free shipping sale. I've noticed a distinct lack of pics of their 8" fenders online because no one runs them, so I'll post some pics when I get them on. Gonna be a while though. I decided to try painting them myself, so that'll take some time.

Are you going to match them to the factory paint?

I ordered a set of fenders from Motobilt for my buggy. Installed the passenger side yesterday evening.
