CMECHA CHALLENGE

Post by GrassHopper » Mon Jan 12, 2009 7:20 am

Alright, here is the deal....

I bet that I can finish my current project before CMECHA gets his CJ engine problem resolved.

I will post a picture of where I am today. Croutman can verify he hauled of the body. If anyone else wants to get in on this with their own projects feel free CMECHA needs all the encouragement he can get, right SLACKER, I mean CMECHA?

Lets post our project lists with pictures to see if we can all finish before slacker CMECHA.

I am getting ready to pull my engine/ transmission on my CJ. I am still searching for T18 to replace my T176, I am getting a new 360 this week. I'll post up pics as I get them pulled.

it is very difficult to be able to do anything i want with out a garage to do it in. granted i can do a compression test with out a garage but even if i do that i'm going to have to pull the engine and ship it back to get another one, or drop a new engine in, so until i have a place to work on it it's dead in the water. but i did renew the registration so atl east i'm keeping it for now.

Can I get in on this? Here is my list.

1) Wait for it to get nice.
2) Learn to weld. (in the process now)
3) Cut off some rusted body mounts
4) Weld new ones on
5) Replace front hubs
6) Regear the front axle
7) Rear axle swap.

hold on there. if you want to question my motivation on my jeep that's fine but questioning my motivation toward anything else is not within your knowledge. So keep the shit talking on subject. Because to be honest i have no idea who you are.
