carb lines

On a carbureted 258, where would the line in the red circle go to :?: I can't tell you what it is, do you know what it is? I know that mine is plugged right now but each picutre I see has a long line goin to an undisclosed location outside of the pic

I believe its a vent hose , that goes to a round canister ,under your washer fluid bottle.
How did i spend four grand on parts in one month?

That makes so much sense, in all the pics it always goes near the washer bottles and turns somewhere then I lose it. I took that thing off so i'll have to find it but thanks Brent, i've been tryin to figure these lines out fr some time!

I still have mine, but i bypassed it for the fuel injection. Yours if you want it. If you took yours out, then you have an open vent hose to your tank that could allow water to get in your tank.

I'm about to go to the garage so i'll look around for it and if I have no luck i'll give you a call. Wait my gas tank?

I`d have to see it , before i said yes or no. Did you strip all the fuel lines under the body aswell as canister?
How did i spend four grand on parts in one month?

I took it out alongf with the emixssions stuff> my fuel lines haveno't been touched
