Besides, mustang owners usually wouldn't find this hilarious like we do.

Take it easy guys...kid is 15. He needs to learn that those who appreciate jeeps are a little confused as to why you would trade a jeep for a Mustang and then be on a jeep form to ask about it. I have both 70 rag top stang and a 77CJ, I love them both, but would choose the jeep over the mustang if I had to choose(THAT'S JUST THE WAY IT IS). He will come to his senses and get another jeep or join a Mustang group. As for the 15 year old kid(mopar freak) if you are going to get pissed off at a few pokes(warned)from the guys, maybe you need to think about what you ask before you ask it.
Honda cuts my grass, jeep won the war.
If it doesn't have rust, it's not a CJ.
79 CJ5 Currently Dead , but vin plate intact.
Now I have a good frame and tub...rebuild to soon start
82 CJ5 fiberglass tub with 304, need love
81 scrambler under build
77 CJ5 w/ 304
70 mustang convertible under rebuild
93 wrangler(newest in the family)bought it for the girl friend(not road worthy yet)

First off you can't even drive till your 16 1/2, so it probably wasn't your car.

Secondly you got the wrong end of the deal. For example i just had a friend trade a 09 Audi TT, for a YJ.

At least $15,000, cj5's are the most sought after of all the models. Since it is already lifted and has oversize tires the price only goes up from there. If you were to sell it you should start at 20grand and negotiate from there.

I'm not a cj expert but the other guys on here could probably steer you a better estimate, mine is probably way too low.

Remember, black rims always add a few grand and some good stickers add 500 apiece easy.

S are you going to wheel the mustang since you can't drive it on the road yet?!

its work $3500-$4500 and thats being very generous. depends on the condition of the frame, tub and engine (what engine is in it). (thats just a few things to mention) If you have a lot of frame rust or tub rust then your worth around $2k and if you engine is struggling to stay alive then now your down to $1500.

just my 2 cents. and I am a cj person.
