You probably have the buick 225 v6 with a T14 3 speed tranny. I think a couple jeep trucks came with a automatic in them in the 60's that had a 225 in them but good luck. You could always do a motor and tranny swap.
Got JEEPS.....

It's almost impossible. The CJ5 has too short of a wheelbase for an auto. TF999 may be the only one that MIGHT fit. Your rear driveshaft would be around 10" long.
Honda cuts my grass, jeep won the war.
If it doesn't have rust, it's not a CJ.
79 CJ5 Currently Dead , but vin plate intact.
Now I have a good frame and tub...rebuild to soon start
82 CJ5 fiberglass tub with 304, need love
81 scrambler under build
77 CJ5 w/ 304
70 mustang convertible under rebuild
93 wrangler(newest in the family)bought it for the girl friend(not road worthy yet)
