Progress has been made! Old cage is out and body is sitting on the frame. I'm gonna need a 1 1/2 inch body lift or cut more sheet metal to clear rear shocks and t-case.

Yay pictures!! Haha looking good! I'd cut the tub and then do some slick sheet metal work. I am going to do that so you should too hahaha

Tire clearance is not the issue. The tub as you see it is not sitting flat on the frame. His extended upper shock mounts are in the way. It's hard to tell from the photograph. But there is about a 1 inch gap between the tub and frame.

Yeah I can't tell from the photo.

What about a 1.25" body lift?
That way there is room for the mounts, not cutting body, and he has more clearance for a belly up if he wants to do that????
