Rates 3/6/08

Post by el_flasko » Thu Mar 06, 2008 12:15 pm

As of today (and they are constantly changing), the 30yr fixed rates are in the low 6's, the 15yr rates are in the high 5's, and the WSJ prime rate is sitting at 6%. The prime rate is directly tied to most home equity lines of credit, so if you have a line your rate has probably been dropping :D

Feel free to give me a call with any scenarios or questions you may have!

you do work in PA also, right? what would I need to do to lower my rate from 7.25? I have about 5 years of equity in it, and currently renting it out. I make money on it, but it wouldn't hurt to make more. Or should I wait until the renters are out, and take the equity money and redo the kitchen? Also, it has appreaciated greatly, or at least I think so, because of the house sales on my street. Just a thought, and wondering, I haven't even been in it for the last 2 years, it is just an asset in the back of my mind that I don't have to worry about right now.

Also, c an you get me into a 2.7 million dollar house with no money down?
I have learned from my evil ways and will not put disgusting photos in my sig any more

Question #1...yes, I can help you get that rate down. Investment properties are easy to do if the loan to value is low. You can do a lot better than the rate you have.

Question #2... Not a chance with no $$ down
