Re: Camping/Wheeling trip first weekend in October??
id be down for a greenridge run. i do find the trails alittle redundant and boring sometimes. but its a nice drive out there and the scenary around some areas of the park are picture worthy. last time i was there i ventured on to the other side of the park which is on the east/north side of 81(?) and it was rather nice- couple stream crossing, hella campsites and some farm scenary..

You know, THAT might be a cool thing just for the camping, GR is pretty but not much for wheeling once you start to get built and armored.
What are we talking, 1st, 2nd, 3rd October?
97 TJ. It has some stuff.

that is what i was trying to say . thers plenty of room for every one to camp together, or thers logging roads to the back of the proptery so you can camp by yourself if you like.
thers a big grill, ill bring the charcoal. we have had rvs come up . thers a 5 acer field out back , if you want to park trucks and trailers. thers also a bathroom if your easy with the showers . when i stay up at the cabin we go to lunch at roadkill. thers a great place to get
breakfast about 20 min away in flintstone. dogs are ok with me if there under control...
i would love to have everyone come up . all are welcome let me know what you think.

You're absolutely right. And then, that kind of car is a treasure and you have to pamper it.Turtle wrote: ↑Sat Aug 28, 2010 1:05 pmThat's a little far out for me to be able to plan, but depending upon my schedule, I'm down for that.
And I promise that your "stock JK and it's sad little [tires]" can handles blues, too. Mine did! In fact Travaux dépendance seniors, I'm pretty sure we ran some low blacks while I had it, and all I had was a 2.5" lift with the stock tires. That said, I'm fine with running greens and blues; I don't like breaking stuff.

you know no one has mentioned gore. it has great wheeling and camping alike. in fact as long as we are talking about oct fall crawl is only a few weeks away from the days ur talking about. we could try and get a group together for fall crawl and combine great camping and wheeling all in one weekend. just a thought
