Lift Question 1.5 OME
For a 2009 KK Liberty.
http://ok4wd.com/shop-by-vendor/old-man ... ep-liberty
How much lift do you actually get out of it? Is the quality good? Are there similar lifts out there in this price range? JBA is a little too much $ for me right now.
I was also looking at possibly keeping it stock, getting a leveling kit and just upgrading front/rear shocks to Bilstein 4600's.
I know there aren't a lot of KK's out there right now, but any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Lift Question 1.5 OME
If you get the heavy duty springs (927 front/731 rear) that'll net you about 2.5" lift over stock, and if your front has sagged as badly as my OEM springs did you'll see even more of a difference.
I'd go ahead and put three conduit nuts on the bottoms of the strut to perform a clevis lift and get you up to 3" lift. In the rear, put an extra spring isolator on top to level things out.
You'll want extended bump stops in the front, they'll keep the struts from bottoming out and croaking prematurely.
Speaking of that, go for the best struts/shock you can afford. I have OME front and rear, and they've done fine by me.

Re: Lift Question 1.5 OME
Thanks.
Yes, mine does have "the rake" look on it right now. I've heard great things about OME, so I will stick with that lift.
Are you saying the HD springs will net me more height because they are a bit taller or just that they won't sag (more stiff) versus the medium springs?

Re: Lift Question 1.5 OME
Yep, the HD springs are stiffer than the medium duty and won't compress as much. The ride will be a little firm until the springs and shocks break in, but after that it'll ride 100% better than it ever did from the factory.
You might consider looking for some TJ Rubicon Moab wheels once the lift is on. They have less backspacing than the stock rims, which'll give the Liberty a wider stance and less of that top heavy appearance.

Kit has been ordered!
Where can I purchase the clevis lift, bump stops and spring isolators?
My wallet is lighter, but I am super excited.

Cool, looking forward to seeing the finished product.
For the front bump stops you are Teraflex part# 1903200. Eric (wrks6), who is one of the board moderators here, may be able to help you with that, or you can Google them. You'll need two, and they should cost less than $25 each.
That's definitely needed to complete the kit, and the below are for getting the most out of the lift by giving you up to another 1" of lift for relatively little expense.
The 2" conduit nuts at at Home Depot or Lowe's, just ask somebody in the electrical section and they'll point you in the right direction. Should run less that $10 altogether - they're not "really" necessary to do a clevis lift, but I like having them there so you know both sides are lifted the same amount and supported.
The rear upper coil isolators you can get from a dealership, either local or online. They're MOPAR part # 52088707AA, should be about $15 each. You'll need either two or four, depending on whether you want/need another 1/2" or full 1" of lift in the back.

Thanks! Renedave helped out a lot with finding me some parts. I have to say, the ride quality with OME is 1000x better than stock. I actually like the look with only 235's on it too. Not sure if upgrading to 245's would make much of a difference. I know any higher I'd have to re-gear. Just little things now for the future - skid plate, diff guard, maybe a CB radio. Who knows! Very happy with the result.

Congrats man, looks awesome!

OME is worth the cost. It is a lot better than spacer lifts.
