How to replace pass side rear brake light bulb

Post by 97JEEPTJ » Sat Aug 30, 2008 4:26 pm

Hey guys, how do you go about replacing the rear brake light bulbs in a Liberty?

When the rear gate is opened, there are the two torx bolt/screws that can be removed--what else do you have to do to remove the taillight assembly to get to the bulbs?

It's been a while since I installed the grill guards on mine, but if I remember correctly, once those screws are out you just pull the whole assembly free...

Thanks. I'm pretty sure that's how it should work.

In a Liberty? Don't you just beat the housing off with a big hammer? :P

Don't you just cut the corner off to do it in a Reny?
Give me a while I'll think of something
