Muffler Question??

hows is it Going everyone?

Um how much would Mr.Tire charge for a Muffler..or to install one.?

dont waste your time with MR tire. although they do do things other than TIRE's exhaust isnt exactly their specialty. if you MUST take it to a main stream shop like midas. or some other more exhaust specialized shop.
if you go to a custom exhaust shop they will weld on any muffler, but if you go to a more generalized mechanic shop like a MR TIRE they will basically want to sell you a complete new exhaust system from the cat back. if you want a more custom muffler like a flowmaster or something like that, go to a custom exhaust shop.

If all you are doing is replacing the muffler that you holed - why not just do it yourself - should be simple enough. Get a chance to use a saw on your ride... :wink:

Hmmm.. What happened, did it get a hole in it or something? :lol:

If I needed one isntalled, I'd make friends with people on this forum and offer up beer and pizza.

Dude a hole is a simple fix. Duck Tape, Duh!!!

Duck tape will never work. You will need to goto Auto Zone and buy the special exhaust tape. I thought you wanted the holes in the muffler pretty sure you are the one that drilled them in.
