The drive shaft for the sye. Then I can see if my magic noise was in the drive shaft transfers case or is somewhere else.

The bus broke down on Friday afternoon, the motor ran rough and would die under throttle. Will and I had limited resources to diagnose the issue and after multiple tweaks and test laps we could not make any improvements. The rest of our group had passengers so I planned to spend Saturday at camp. I was able to get a copy of the Holley Projection manual so before they left to go ride we worked on the Scrambler. I did not make a single adjustment that morning and the motor fired up and ran normal. I believe the culprit was bad fuel purchased from the truck stop on Rt. 81S.

Besides the motor issue, it did very well on the trails. I have found a few things that need to be immediately addressed before my next trip. The full width axles and 40" tires make the rock trails easy to navigate. The suspension needs to be fine tuned (terrible shock mounts, no bumpstops, shorter leaf spring, etc.) I need to move the transmission cooler to avoid extra heat from the mufflers. Rocker guards need fabricated and corner armor installed to protect the fiberglass.

It will be a very nice truck when I am done.
